Using UPick Taxi
UPick Taxi is a ride request and introduction service. Independent drivers choose which requests to accept. A request or acceptance does not guarantee transportation. Rider and driver must confirm pickup details, vehicle suitability, return arrangements, and payment directly. The website does not collect ride payments.
Provide accurate information, protect account access, and use phone numbers you own or are authorized to use. Drivers are responsible for their vehicle, driving, and meeting applicable operating requirements. Notify the other party promptly if you cannot honor an arrangement. Do not submit fraudulent requests, misuse contact information, or attempt unauthorized access.
Availability and cancellations
Driver availability, phone connections, maps, and alerts can fail or be delayed. Check your request status and speak directly with your driver. This is not an emergency service; call 911 for an emergency. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service. Cancelling one leg of a linked booking may leave the other leg active; check each trip.
Referrals and ride requests
Drivers never pay a service fee. Riders earn request credits after a new referred driver is approved. Each driver can earn a referral award only once. The allowance in effect at approval is recorded then. A linked outbound and return booked together uses one credit; a return booked later uses another. Cancellations do not refund request credits. Reopening the same request does not consume another credit. Credits do not pay transportation fares or guarantee a driver. Referral numbers can be shared; private web booking codes must not be shared. No monthly subscription payment is collected at this time.
Driver SMS program
Drivers who expressly opt in may receive UPick Taxi text messages about ride offers, accepted rides, cancellations, and ride-related alerts. Message frequency varies with ride activity. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase, driver signup, or access to ride opportunities. Driver phone numbers remain required for ride coordination, independently of SMS consent.
Reply STOP to the sending number to opt out. You may receive one opt-out confirmation, after which program texts stop unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, or call 844-757-1010. You can also withdraw consent in driver settings. After a carrier-level STOP, follow the sending number's START instructions before resuming texts.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text alerts are a convenience and are not a guarantee that an offer remains available. Use the driver portal to confirm availability and accept offers. Let us know if you stop using or change your mobile number.
See our Privacy Policy for data handling and SMS consent protections, and Driver SMS alerts for the signup method.
Support and updates
Call 844-757-1010 for account, trip, or messaging assistance. Updated terms are posted on this page. Changes to the scope of SMS consent require a new opt-in rather than silently expanding the program.
